The 16th hole at Augusta is one of the iconic holes at Augusta National Golf Club, the home of the US Masters Gold tournament.

My father Ken Reed first painted the scene as a watercolour. It became a successful limited edition print. Using the same reference, he then painted it as this stunning original oil painting which is now available as a canvas print in various sizes.

Augusta National is a legendary par-72, 7,565-yard course renowned for its beauty, strategic challenge, and dramatic elevation changes. Built on a former plant nursery, it’s distinguished by pristine fairways, fast greens, and holes named after local plants.

This oil painting captures the famous 16th hole, “Redbud” with a serene, almost dreamlike atmosphere. Ken Reed presents the course not simply as a sports venue, but as a carefully composed landscape of light, reflection, and seasonal beauty.
