Beadnell Northumberland – Original Watercolour Painting

A Fine Art Original Watercolour of Northumberland

I’ve been to this quaint little harbour on the Northumbrian coast several times.

Sitting on the harbour wall and capturing the small fishing boats in my sketchbook is always a lovely way to soak up the atmosphere of a place.

Northumbrian Coastal Paintings and Prints

I’ve been working on a large painting project of Paintings of Beadnell Northumberland to refurbish a clients property on the Northumbrian Coast. The theme is entered on some of the castles and the small boats that grace Northumberland’s picturesque harbours.

Although I do have quite a collection of prints of Northumberland, I felt it would enrich the range if I did somer new works. Two of the new Watercolour paintings of Beadnell and prints are of Alnmouth and Beadnell which you can read about in a previous blog post.

The other two are of Beadnell Harbour and Holy Island at Low Tide. For these new works, I made special trips to do some sketchbook work for fresh reference to add to previous studies.

Watercolours of  Northumberland Paintings and Castles include Alnwick Castle, Dunstanburgh, Warkworth can be seen in our Ponteland Art Gallery.

We have a  Beadnell Harbour Limited Edition Print
