Hareshaw Linn

I spent an enjoyable morning painting this waterfall tucked away in Bellingham, Northumberland. I did two watercolours on blocks and two sketchbook studies.

This studio painting has been inspired by my time spent listeneing to the sound of the water cascading onto the slippery rocks below and capturing the movement of the stream in full spate after a deluge of rain.
