The Diwan of the Royal Court have commissioned 30 works by Alan Reed. Including a deserted fort and village in Jebel Akhdar. ‘Jebel Akhdar, Oman’ won Alan Reed ‘Artist’s Prize of the Royal Watercolour Society’ in 2013, The painting was subsequently exhibited in a London gallery.
I visited Diana’s Point because it is named after Princess Diana who visited Jebel Akhdar with Prince Charles in November 1986.
