Ailsa Course Turnberry

£4,000.00

This scene takes me back to the mid 80’s. I went with my dad around several courses in Scotland to help him gather reference for his first collection of limited edition prints titled The Scottish Collection.

I recall taking photographs of the 10th hole with the lighthouse and the distinctive Ailsa Craig in the background.

“Dinna Fouter” is a lively, expressive oil painting of the 10th hole at the Ailsa Course Turnberry that reminds me of that trip around 40 years ago. It’s one of several paintings my father painted of Turnberry.
