Old Course St Andrews Poster – Ken Reed

The 124th Open Championship was held at the Old Course at St Andrews from 20th to 23rd July 1995.

It resulted in a dramatic victory for American John Daly. Daly secured his second major title by defeating Italy’s Costantino Rocca in a four-hole playoff. The tournament is famously remembered for Rocca’s incredible 65-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole to force the playoff, alongside Arnold Palmer’s final Open appearance.

This art deco style poster commemorates the silver jubilee of the Royal and Ancient. It features the iconic buildings and of course the Swilkin Bridge.
