Town Moor Sledging
I spent an enjoyable morning sledging with my two children and grandchildren.
This was the inspiration for me to do a small sketch book watercolour to capture the beautiful memories.
My sketch book study has enabled me to do this larger work depicting the fading winter light.

Charity Christmas Cards
Earlier this year I was approached by the charity The Cyrenians based in Newcastle. The Cyrenians work with vulnerable, disadvantaged and homeless people. Sian Thomas, their marketing administrator, asked if they could use some of my paintings as Charity Christmas Cards. This was to help them raise money for the charity which has been going for over 40 years.
Over the last 20 years or more, I know that the paintings I have done have raised thousands of pounds. Because of being reproduced as Charity Christmas cards. As in particular for the Marie Curie cancer care, so I was more than happy to oblige.
