Alan Reed was born in Northumberland and has painted Newcastle for over 40 years from his studio in Ponteland, just a few miles from St James' Park. His Newcastle United artwork comes from the same place as the rest of his work: a deep connection to the city, its streets and its people.
Celebrating the Carabao Cup win
On 16 March 2025, Newcastle United beat Liverpool 2 to 1 at Wembley to win the Carabao Cup, the club's first major domestic trophy since the 1955 FA Cup. For a generation of supporters it was the day they had waited their whole lives for. Limited edition prints are produced as fine art giclée prints on archival paper and are hand signed and numbered by Alan, so once an edition has sold out, no more will be made.
