New Limited Edition
In May I launched my long awaited print of Newcastle United’s Carabao Cup celebrations. As I shared in a previous blog post, I’ve been wanting to capture a Newcastle United side parading a trophy around the city of Newcastle for several decades!
I’ve been delighted with the response from fans, with orders coming as far afield as New Zealand. For some fans who were not able to make it to the celebrations, the painting provides a lasting image that captures the occasion.
All the elements that epitomise Newcastle United have been carefully composed into the scene, the fans wearing black and white tops, the Winners 2025 buses, the players and of course the stadium, St James Park.

Other details in this painting of the Carabao Cup have been added including a Brazilian Flag and a fan combing a lamp post with his top off even though it was very cold!
Another feature which I didn’t expect to be painting when I first had the idea in the 1980’s was the amount of fans holding up their mobile phones to record the historic event.
