This small watercolour study of the statue of St Aidan was painted on location on Holy Island off the coast of Northumberland in 2013.
It’s painted on hand made Indian rag. I’ve float mounted this original watercolour to show the deckled edge of the paper which gives a lovely 3D effect to the study.
